here’s a revised version of your message:
the issue seems to stem from the display not working when the PC is upright, even though everything lights up and the GPU appears on. I’ve checked numerous troubleshooting steps online, but the main clue points toward the GPU possibly being misaligned or improperly seated. I suspect the case might be resting horizontally instead of flat. Additionally, there’s a possibility of a short circuit on the motherboard when it’s upright, possibly due to metal contact. My main concern is the GPU, especially since the VGA light indicates a problem. I’m open to suggestions—anyone have ideas on how to fix this without permanently tilting the machine? I’ll be taking everything apart to check for loose screws or other issues, but I’m hoping others have faced similar problems and can offer advice. Thanks in advance!
I really don’t understand what’s going on, maybe a faulty PCIe port on your motherboard? You might want to try using one of the lower slots to eliminate that possibility. That’s all I’ve got to say. Spoiler: I’m already getting a bit invested in your issue after helping you yesterday, and now this.
Haha yes I appreciate your continued help!! If you go back to my other post I figured it out haha. It’s gonna work slowly but surely
