I upgraded my Ryzen 2700x and didn’t notice my power plan choices until I updated the chipset on my motherboard. You can refresh the chipset by looking up your board model on AMD’s site. Give it a shot!
I performed the chipset update from the motherboard site, not from AMD. That might have been the issue.
The motherboard forums usually lag behind the main AMD site updates. That’s why my power plans appeared that way.
I can re-download again, but I’m unsure if there are any problems with the AMD site. I was supposed to get the Ryzen Master, but I already have it.
I’m not very familiar with the process of installing drivers, but I think AMD’s driver tool includes a safeguard to prevent downloading a new driver over an existing one. I already had a chipset driver from my motherboard’s page and installed AMD’s version, which worked perfectly. So there’s no need to worry about that. Regarding the driver itself, I found it on their official support site: https://www.amd.com/en/support. I selected the right chipset and downloaded the file, which has its own executable.
