I recently assembled a new PC.
Ryzen 5 1600
ASRock AB350M Pro 4
Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB 2x4gb
I'm having trouble getting the RAM to exceed 2133mhz. No matter the settings I change, the voltage doesn't work and the system is extremely unstable. I can't even play a short game like CSGO without it freezing or crashing.
The RAM slots are A2 and B2.
Please help me or I'm going to be upset.

Does your memory match the one listed for the AB350M motherboard on the memory QVL page? Review the provided link. If it isn't there, you're fortunate it functions properly. Others would need to purchase replacement memory for it to work.

Check the provided link for your motherboard AB350M memory. If it isn't listed, you're lucky it functions at least. Others need to purchase new memory from the list for it to work properly. Your RAM model is CMK8GX4M2B3000C15, which is close but not identical to the one on the list. The Corsair Vengeance LPX memory is also available there.

I will let others provide a more accurate response. Based on my understanding, a Ryzen CPU motherboard is quite particular. ASRock's QVL memory list indicates they have confirmed those memories will function reliably at their rated speeds. For untested memory types, compatibility might be uncertain. Have you considered updating the BIOS for your motherboard?

I will let others provide more accurate responses. Based on my understanding, motherboards for Ryzen CPUs are quite particular. The QVL memory list from ASRock confirms those memories will definitely function at the rated speeds. For untested memory, it might not work or only at lower speeds. Have you tried updating the BIOS for your motherboard?

Updating the BIOS was my first step when setting up my PC. I aim for RAM speeds above 3000MHz, but the listed speeds seem costly. I think I’ll settle for 2133MHz or wait for a BIOS update.

Thanks for your time and assistance.
