Hello, I’m planning to assemble a PC and have noticed many problems with DDR-5 on the new AM5 platform. Many users install memory rated between 5600MHz and 6400MHz but face difficulties activating EXPO. The official Ryzen 5 7600 page only suggests a top speed of 5200MHz. It looks like AMD might be testing stability at those higher speeds, which could explain why they don’t officially endorse faster rates. Some people are pushing beyond these limits and encountering issues like random BSODs. It seems you’ll need to try different options to see what works best for your R5 7600. How are your experiences with overclocked RAM on AM5?

Hello, standard font size works perfectly for you. Are there any tasks you're working on that need DDR5 RAM and can't be done with DDR4?

20+ AM5 systems using RAM from 5600 to 6400mhz work well without problems. The 6000mhz CL30/32 is ideal. As discussed earlier, choose RAM from the motherboard's QVL list for better performance. Running four DDR5 sticks is challenging above 4800/5200MHz because of controller limits. Two sticks should be manageable. This explains why we're seeing more 48-96GB two-stick DDR5 kits for stability.
