Hi, I noticed some confusion about compatible CPUs for Windows 11. Your Ryzen 5 1600 appears missing from the lists, but the PC health check confirms it's supported. The PC.hc status indicates good power performance. Since you don’t have TPM 2.0, installing an external one would be a good idea. Thank you for your patience!

Welcome to the discussions! It looks like everything should function properly – 1st generation Ryzen is generally not officially supported, but it should run. I've set it up on Core 2 Quad systems. Second, your motherboard likely includes an integrated TPM, as most components from the past few years do. Look in your BIOS settings for terms like AMD TPM or fTPM.

No. M$ made Win-11 specifically for Intel Alder Lake CPU's. With TPM-2.0. Any other CPU it runs on is pure coincidence Given various reports on the web, if you're happy enough with your current Win-OS version, there's no need to " upgrade " (if you can call it an upgrade ) to Win-11

Windows 11 works perfectly without any extra features your Ryzen 5 1600 lacks, which is why Microsoft chose not to support it.

Thanks for the support. I previously couldn't turn on TPM 2.0, but after some research I found a solution with Gigabyte boards. Just got a BIOS update and now I don't need to rush for an OS upgrade—it's good to know this option is available.
