I have a Ryzen 5 1600 with a cryorig H7. Gskill rams are set to 2400max and an asrock b350 pro4. The issue is that when I try to overclock beyond 1.375, it stays there. Adjusting to 1.38000 brings it back to 1.375. Someone with the same MMO but a 1800x slot seems to succeed. What might be causing this?

It's not necessary to exceed 1.375v, right? I'm using a Ryzen 1700@4ghz at 1.3675v.

Oh lol i'm blind.
Many motherboards have preset voltages, have you tried a high enough number such as 1.39000 that would get it over the 1.375 preset?

I attempted 1.3800 but it repeatedly returns to 1.375. Every time I press enter, I type 1.38000 and the BIOS reverts to 1.375.

He might have a different board bios than you.
I think you don't really need to exceed 1.375v with a Ryzen 5.

He might be using a different board BIOS than yours. I think you shouldn't need to go beyond 1.375v with a Ryzen 5, though it's possible on a B350 board.

My friend and I received the same latest board bios from asrock. You're asking if that's normal? That I won't ever exceed 1.375, while he can go beyond with a Ryzen 7? I've seen reviews saying Ryzen 5 can go over 1.4, but I'm not interested in going that far.
