The Ryzen 3600x isn't reaching 4.4GHz speeds.
Hi there. I just got a new PC recently. My setup includes a Ryzen 3600X, 32GB RAM, TridentZ 980GB, M.2 SSD with 980GB capacity, a 750W PSU, ASUS RTX 2080TI graphics card, and an ASUS TUF x570 motherboard. I’ve faced issues where the Ryzen doesn’t reach 4.4GHz under heavy load—it caps at 4.1GHz. In Windows, it displays 4.1GHz when I right-click my machine. I’ve updated the BIOS and enabled the preset override feature, but it still doesn’t help. Also, I notice some frame rate drops in game menus. :/
The 3600X is designed to run at 4.4Ghz on a single core. When you enable multi-core usage, the frequency reduces to 4.1Ghz, which aligns with the expected behavior.
Your speed is 1600 MHz, but the RAM operates at 3200 MHz. That means your RAM is running at double the frequency of your system's memory bus.
