I searched on Lazada and Shopee several times for rubber replacements for my model, but without success. I’m located in the Philippines and it seems tough to find a suitable replacement for my controller. The rubber inside is torn, and one button feels soft. The only options that show up are PS4 and Xbox rubbers. Do I really have no choice but to purchase a new one? Or could I try gluing the rubber instead? Thanks in advance for anyone who can help, I don’t want to buy a new controller yet. This model is in its third year of use.

3rd year: It might be time to consider a different controller, especially if the current one has been used a lot. You could also try fixing the mushy button and see if another button starts to fail. Look around—maybe you can find another similar or used one and reuse its parts.
Gluing probably won’t help; the adhesive would stick and harden, possibly stopping any movement entirely or causing it to melt into a sticky mess.
