Why 1080p for a 3090? Or are you an e-sport expert needing ultra-high refresh rates?

Recommend a 1440p monitor with 240Hz for optimal performance (especially if you mainly play games)

As I mentioned above, it's a temporary card regarding another post. Please see point 2 below.

I’m sure now. I recommend a high-quality 1000W power supply. The seasonal calculator helped confirm it should work fine even for 850W.

Typically, a high-quality 850W device such as an Rmx, Enermax Revolution D.F., or MSI MPG will work well. Ensure you connect three cables to the card, which helps the power supply manage surges more effectively.

It seems like you're questioning the size of your power supply. Maybe it's too small for a 10-year-old 750W unit?

I’m doing it! No other choices left, so today I connected through 3x8-pin connectors too. To be honest, I used a setup with 4x6+2 pins before. I switched to 2x6+2pins and then upgraded from Sata to Molex, then to 2x6 PCI-E and finally to a single 1x8 pin PCI-E. I ran some benchmarks and everything performed well. Of course, when I saw I had extra cables, I swapped out all the clunky adapters.

It's clear a ten-year-old V750 is really taking over. Nice quality PSU from back then would have kept things running smoothly, otherwise that setup might have caused serious issues. Smile

That result was surprising to me Smile. Do you have any advice on running it at maximum speed?
