The RT-5300 is no longer available.
Hello everyone, I hope this message finds you well. I’m reaching out for any suggestions or recommendations. This morning my internet stopped working through the RT-AC5300 I’ve been using for years. It only runs stock firmware. Initially, I saw Wi-Fi after rebooting, but after a second restart it didn’t work at all and I couldn’t access anything. I’ve tried resetting it by holding the reset button for 10 seconds while it was on, used the WPS button, and even flashed it in Asus Recovery mode. The recovery process said it succeeded, but I still can’t connect to 192.168.1.1 or its previous IP address 10.1.10.1. I’m unsure if another issue occurred or what else I should try. My tests with resets involved just power and the laptop plugged in to rule out network problems. Also, when I power it up, the power indicator lights up but nothing else works. It doesn’t seem to heat up like before, and I think something might be stuck during boot. Any advice would be really helpful. Thanks!
Execute ipconfig /all in the Command Prompt. Review the displayed details to identify the local IP address assigned to the connected network interface.
