Do you require a 1000w power supply? If that’s the case, I’d abandon the risk now before investing more. At the moment you’re just spending $10. Treat it as a trial run to see what you’re getting before committing further.

Why would you offer broad guidance when the specific PSUs are clear? You also mention some systems use non-ATX connectors, meaning a tailor-made PC shouldn’t always stick to the standard PSU.

Not sure if this works but I’m looking for some PSUs that aren’t the generic 500W ones and one that allows me to upgrade my GPU or other components without needing a full PSU replacement.

To ensure safety, I stick to the cables included with the PSU and avoided checking compatibility. I don’t reuse cables, even if the maker says they work. Your guesses about my meaning are just funny. Stay calm and get outside.
