The device might only support PCIe 3.0. Adjust the PCI slot to Gen 3 in the BIOS settings.

My gaming card is 3.0 and it's a B550 model. I believe it doesn't support 4.0. I've been searching for that setup but couldn't locate it.

You're using a B550 motherboard, but it supports Gen 4. What kind of motherboard are you connecting it to?

It's a B550 ASUS ROG Strix A. I wasn't aware it works with Gen 4 that's the latest.
