I noticed my 750w PSU was malfunctioning and causing random BSODs. I bought a new 850w one and after connecting it, everything worked smoothly. However, my RGB case fans (Corsair QL), the fans for my AiO (Gigabyte WaterForce 280mm), and the LED on the pump still didn’t function properly—they seemed stuck. The system recognized the fans but didn’t change their color as expected.
Ensure your update includes complete hardware specifications and operating system details. Verify that only the provided cables were used and inspect all connectors using the relevant motherboard documentation.
Check the entire manual thoroughly and ensure all connections are accurate, focusing on fan and LED components. Pages 27 to 29 are most relevant to your issue. Verify that connectors, cables, and pins match correctly. If needed, reinstall the controlling software. Finally, reset CMOS according to the instructions on Page 37 and adjust the BIOS as necessary.
