As the title says, i remember not liking it when it first launched on the Xbox360swagscope, but 2 years later (I think) this has become the only game i play on PC. Its the best close quarters FPS i've ever played. Beating out the hours of fun i've had with Battlefield. The single player, its okay; i dont find anything wrong with it and it has a tacked on story of a soldier who has issues with his wife and his work, but other than that the gameplay is still rather intresting and fun. Now, the multiplayer! This is the most fun I've ever (probably not, cant remember its 5 Am) had! The maps are decent for a rush style game mode where you plant and defend objectives. There are a lot of flanking options and some good spots to defend. Probably the only issue with multiplayer (both a pro and a con) is that there are no shot guns as a primary weapon! FANTASTIC!! i personlly think shotguns are more of a noobish weapon, considering most of them are a one hit kill and you only fire one shot. They can get very annoying when you can only get 2 bullets into the guy. Also, the thing that males everything so much more better, are the animations and the depth of field effects with the scopes. The animations for specifically the sniper rifle is very nice when your loading another round in to the chamber when your still ADSing. The level of both cosmetic and functional of customization is fantastic as well! The thing that sold me on playing this game to death is that you can play as a Canadian soldier, im a proud Canadian citizen so its very nice to see that as well (your decked out in Canadian flags, which i like a lot!) I'm going to stop there, what are your thoughts on thisb(imo: awesome) game?
It was full of numerous issues, just like any other game, but these were also Frostbite Engine glitches that resembled problems from other FB engine titles. They should have been fixed before release since other frostbite games had their patches. Fixing them took a long time, and by then... people were saying I had it, but I played only about 26 hours in the first month. It turned into a ghost town as local servers (AU) disappeared, and eventually I moved on like everyone else.
Trying to release a mediocre product in a crowded industry is the situation. "Hey, there seems to be a hit. Everyone should rush in and push it hard, right?" - The gaming sector.
Multiplayer shooters aren't really my thing anymore since arena FPS titles faded away a while back... even Quake Live suffered some recent issues... I just don’t like cod-style games, they have many flaws I can’t tolerate.
1) Health regen – no health pickups to manage, forcing you into risky situations like camp fest.
2) You’re killed too quickly to react when shot from behind – being caught off guard by enemies is a major issue.
3) Only a few weapons are available at spawn time and often require unlocking; this creates an uneven field for players who haven’t progressed fully, plus limited combat variety.
4) The physics feel off: no jumps, bullets go straight, and movement is extremely slow. I’m fine with basic bullet behavior if it means you need more than a few shots to defeat someone, but otherwise it’s frustrating.
5) Autoaim isn’t present in most versions; while some mods add it, it’s not built-in and can be triggered under certain conditions.
6) Killstreaks are unpredictable in cod, making scoring confusing and unreliable.
7) The campaign feels overly controlled—every action is dictated, turning what could be a story into a rigid QTE or rail shooter experience.
It’s not that I dislike stories, but good gameplay needs freedom and variety. If it forces you to follow instructions perfectly or lacks options, I won’t enjoy it. That’s my take—feel free to adjust your perspective.
That's the 2010 MOH game, not MOH:Warfighter. I preferred the 2010 SP and MP versions over Warfighters.
