Hi. We have ten RemotePC hosts running Windows 10 for years. Recently, one host stopped appearing on our lists and turned grey. I initially checked the power but it was fine. After uninstalling and reinstalling the software, everything worked properly and I could connect from other nearby machines. When I returned home about twenty minutes later, that same host was still greyed out. I repeated this three times with the same outcome. The other nine hosts are always active and only go grey when power fails in our building. I suspect one machine might be experiencing hardware issues because the software is so straightforward. Do you have any advice? Thank you.

On that distant computer, someone should review its logs using Reliability History/Monitor and Event Viewer. The records might show error codes, warnings, or informational messages just before or when the PC becomes unresponsive. Incorrect shutdowns could stem from a malfunctioning power supply unit.

Also execute DISM and SFC to verify the integrity of the operating system.
