The Realtek Gaming 2.5GbE Family Controller reports a hardware IO error.
Hello,
I’m experiencing frequent crashes and BSODs, especially when shutting down at night. The errors include MEMORY_MANAGEMENT to IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. Could someone assist in interpreting the minidump file from my last crash? I’m also unsure about the best method for uploading it.
Realtek and Intel 2.5GbE motherboard chipsets are often associated with instability issues. Check the Realtek website for updated drivers that may work better than those provided by your motherboard manufacturer. I turned off the 2.5GbE chipset in the BIOS and replaced it with a 10GbE PCIe NIC (I have two 10GbE LAN connections).
Thank you for the advice! Looking further into my Event Viewer, I'm not completely sure if the error is being caused by the 2.5GbE controller, as there is some time between that error and the actual crash. Is it possible that there is something else causing the issues?
There appear to be several issues that may occur randomly. The computer might either crash with a BSOD displaying the memory management code, or it could shut down unexpectedly. The most recent incident happened during a Valorant game, without any specific error at the time of restart. Instead, an error message states: "The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck." A dump was saved at the specified location. This pattern matches three possible situations. The latest occurrence took place at 8:01 PM, while Realtek errors are recorded at 5:24 PM.
