I started playing a game, my account is MG1 (still hasn't logged in since a while) and these players performed worse than when I was in Silver 2! They lacked any sound effects and had no sense of awareness at all. Eventually, I focused on buying the dualies, negevs, and m249's, and I was dominating the enemies. I earned 1 4k with the dualies, 1 4k with the negev, and 1 with the m249. In other matches, I consistently achieved at least 2-3 kills using those weapons. Not to be serious, but the skill levels have changed so much. MG1's skills resemble those from Silver 1, and playing as a Silver 2 smurf actually made more sense for me. Just thought it was funny, and why this is happening.
I recently joined a casual match where players repeated identical statements. I’m new to comp with 11 wins but have invested 125 hours. After completing my first ten matches, I jumped straight into Gold Nova 2... It’s surprising how the game feels easier than Gold Nova, even though it’s not that difficult.
A surge in bans for cheaters has increased the need for proper ranking before competitive deters smurfs can participate. Players are now better aligned with their intended roles.
Do you have the replay link for the game? Watching that player hit a 4K goal from Negev is pretty entertaining!
It seems there might have been a significant VAC ban announcement today, possibly influencing the situation.
I really feel like I'm in LE. I used to play with everyone in LE all the time—since they were the only ones who understood the game—and I did great. Most of the time I was a solid fragger or scorer.
