I've been experiencing blue screens while playing games for a while now. I managed to link the issue to my RAM, but I'm unsure how to fix it. I have two sticks of RAM—both are HyperX 8G 2400 MHz. The most puzzling part is that MemTest64 passed both sticks individually, yet failed when tested together with 1300 errors. Some details: my motherboard is the TUF Z390-PLUS GAMING, all RAM slots are working, XMP is disabled, and they're running in dual channel mode. The problem isn't with dual channel since the test worked on both sticks together, but it still didn't succeed.
Increase your DDR4 voltage to around 1.35V and observe the results. Also, confirm whether the most recent BIOS version for your board is applied. Platform-specific updates can enhance stability.
The testing ran for several hours rather than just one go. Multiple passes would be better for a 16GB system. It might indicate an issue with one of the memory chips.
The standard for memtest is four checks, but when I used the second set of sticks in the second run it stopped early and reported an issue.
