It depends on how you adjust the clock speed. Sometimes people confuse "lower" with "downclocking," but usually you can run at default speeds. Try resetting the CMOS, booting up the PC without changing BIOS settings, and see if it works. If not, XMP might be the issue—select the correct speed there. However, 3600MHz doesn’t suit 3200MHz well; aim for around 2933MHz instead. If neither option works, your RAM may not be compatible or your BIOS settings are incorrect.
Third generation Ryzen marks the first model with a solid memory controller and officially supports 3200MHz, though some chips and bundles still clash with one another.
