I purchased a brand new Asus M415DAP with a Ryzen 3 3250u and integrated graphics, plus 4GB of built-in memory. I replaced it with a used RAM that had been cleaned until its gold coating returned to normal, but now it operates at a lower frequency—2400MHz for the internal module and 2133MHz for the external one—and this has led to some BSODs. Right now, I'm running tests similar to when the issues started, and so far nothing has occurred. Whether you can still use that RAM depends on your needs; you might consider upgrading or underclocking the internal module if stability becomes critical.

Typically the board checks all RAM to the lowest speed for any stick. Mixing different memory types always affects compatibility and stability. If a stick shows heavy corrosion, internal issues are likely, making it a good chance it’s damaged. It seems several factors could be involved. You can check the memory frequency with Cpu-Z; note it uses Double Data Rate, so the displayed speed is half the rated rate on the labels.

Indeed, I looked into CPU-Z during the initial BSOD. It indicated both components were operating at 2400Mhz or close to it, and the Task Manager's memory section also showed similar values. Since I'm not very experienced with computer troubleshooting, I might be mistaken, but I'll double-check later for confirmation.

Check the BIOS settings, reduce the memory frequency to 2133mhz, and observe if it resolves the BSOD issues.
