CPU: Ryzen 3 2300x Mobo: Asrock A320m-hdv Ram: Corsair vengeance LXP DDR4 2x8GB 3200 MHZ Old ram: XPG Adata DDR4 1x8GB 2666MHZ OS: Windows 10 Cyberpower prebuilt This is a friends computer, i was cleaning it up and refreshing it so he could get some better fps on games and noticed the OLD RAM was only running at 1333, so i went into bios and tried to set the xmp profile and it let me but nothing changed. So we went and got him some new ram, when we put it in at first it was running at 1067, went into bios and configured it to be xmp at 3200 and it increased to 1600. Now its the next day and nothings changed. What could be causing this and how do i fix it? this all started because Farming sim kept crashing on him.

I believe you grasp my point, though I currently have three different computers in front of me. One belongs to a friend experiencing problems, another is mine, and the third is with my other friends. I'm using Task Manager to check these speeds. Problem: shows 1600 when it should be 3200. Other friends: 2400 – should be 2400. My machine: 3600 on x570, but it should be 3600. Other friend: 5600g on b450. How could it display correctly on two while not on the third? All are Ryzen systems. My setup is a 3600x on x570, whereas another is a 2300x on a320m.

The replacement kit matched the original in timing, voltage, density, capacity, and speed, yet it was QVL'd while the previous one wasn't. DOCP didn’t automatically recognize the correct timings for the new kit, so I had to adjust them manually.
