The RAM isn't connecting to the motherboard. Solution found.
I'm assembling my first PC and got some Evga DDR4 RAM that fits. I have two 8GB sticks and a DDR4 motherboard with CPU. I made sure the notch lines up with the memory slots, and when I push the RAM in, the side notch stays in place. I've applied a lot of pressure evenly, but it still won't go in. I'm worried about breaking the RAM but think the force might be the issue. I'll share a photo so you can see.
Don't worry about applying too much pressure. You can't shatter anything like Hulk. Just place the MoBo on a rough surface and give the sticks a solid push. It should go through easily then.
