They often resolve the issue by turning the pump to its highest setting for about an hour, which clears up any bubbles or debris.

You're looking at the tube-to-radiator junction. The area where the tubes link to the radiator is positioned lower than where they connect to the CPU block. You'll need to adjust the setup so the radiator connection stays above the CPU.
