I checked the listings and found the 5600G available for $186.99, while the 5600 remains at $199. Beyond the graphics, there aren’t any other notable differences. Considering your setup, choosing the 5600G seems like a better value right now. Just double-check if it meets your needs before deciding.

For a gaming setup, the 5600G may underperform due to its significantly smaller L3 cache. Focus only on the extra cache introduced in the 5800x3D. You'll also miss out on PCIe 4.0 support, which is limited to version 3.0. Still, the 5600G should outperform your existing CPU, and with an RTX 2060, the FPS gain from reduced cache might be minimal. I’d recommend sticking with the 5600 for an extra $13, especially since you already have a GPU.

The 5600G operates much slower compared to the 5600X, resembling a 3600 in performance.
