The questionpc comes back from sleep mode very quickly.
I tried to place the PC into sleep mode but it always comes back on quickly. This has been happening for weeks now, and before this it never happened. I executed the command prompt and checked the "powercfg/lastwake" settings, which are displaying this information as the cause. Do you know how to fix this problem or what it means?
Update all drivers, including Wi-Fi and chipset components.
Remove the power button connector from the motherboard.
Update the BIOS.
Check for any devices connected such as USB peripherals.
Eventually, eliminate all unused devices.
When you ask for sleep, the media player may try to block it if it’s streaming content. There is a panel setting to disable this blocking feature. I’ve also noticed network equipment can wake each other on the same machine. You might want to turn off all network devices and attempt the sleep request again to check if it works.
Review the Reliability History/Monitor and Event Viewer sections. Both tools might record an error code, warning, or informational event shortly before or during the PC being awakened. Also examine the Task Scheduler: there could be a rule (with unclear reasons) that causes the system to re-awaken.
