Occasionally, when playing certain games, the display begins and then freezes after approximately two seconds—this isn’t a lagging issue. Switching to another application with Alt+Tab resolves the problem momentarily, lasting for about two seconds, before it recurs. I’m unsure how to fix this issue.

Post full system specs including the power supply. The event logs reported at the time the issue occurred from the 'event viewer' screen would help as well.
