My computer is running Windows 10 Pro with a Ryzen 5 2600 processor and an RX580 8gb graphics card. This problem occurs with two of my 43 games – Tony Hawk’s HD and Rugby 08 – but not with the others. It only appears when the games are started in full-screen mode. Neither game offers a windowed display option (although I was able to run them this way, which was unsatisfactory). The game initially functions correctly for approximately two seconds before minimizing. Upon reopening, it operates smoothly for another two seconds before minimizing again. I’ve attempted all troubleshooting steps, including compatibility modes and running as administrator, but the only effective solution is pressing any keyboard button simultaneously when the game opens – this occurred accidentally while using Alt/Enter. With this method, there are no further issues. I need a legitimate resolution. I have explored various settings and options, including running as an administrator, yet nothing has resolved the problem. I’m even contemplating creating a script to automatically press a keyboard button upon game launch, but I find that approach excessive and impractical. I lack the knowledge to implement it and don't wish to invest the time in discovering how. PLEASE ASSIST ME!

These games are ancient, as if they shouldn't function properly due to their age.

Have you investigated those games and their compatibility with Windows 10, specifically the 64-bit version? It’s actually quite manageable if you discovered a method for them to operate successfully. I've noticed that attempting to resolve minor problems can frequently cause additional complications to arise more often than a straightforward solution would.
