The QuestionGame application experiences freezing issues during gameplay.
I recently purchased Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice a few days ago, however, I’ve been unable to enjoy it due to persistent freezing issues. My computer specifications are as follows: Operating System: Windows 10 64-bit; Processor: Intel Core i7-8700; Memory: 16 GB RAM; Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080; PSU: Seasonic 650W FOCUS+ 650 Gold; DirectX: Version 12. The freezing happens approximately 2-10 minutes after starting a game session. I’ve attempted the following troubleshooting steps without success: verifying file integrity, updating/downgrading drivers, performing a clean boot, reinstalling the game, and testing windowed mode. I'm becoming increasingly frustrated with this problem. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Obtain and set up Hard Disk Sentinel; this tool will inform you about any potential issues with your hard drive. It can also remove one source of problems if the drive is functioning correctly.
Following this, it seems you only have one external hard drive on your system.
Have you ever employed DDU?
You can download DDU from this link: https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/dis...nload.html
Carefully follow the instructions when you execute it, which entails booting into Safe Mode, running the application and eliminating ALL drivers, subsequently reinstalling the latest versions.
Performing a scan for malware on your computer is consistently advised.
Do these interruptions occur during gameplay of solo games without online connectivity?
Considering your system’s components, your computer appears to be utilizing an Intel Core i7-8700 processor, probably equipped with the original cooling solution. Monitor your CPU temperatures during gameplay.
