The QuestionDisplay Driver Uninstaller will not launch at all.
I recently had to install a new graphics card, which has led to numerous issues and drivers not functioning correctly. Whenever I attempt to install anything, Windows typically crashes with an error message. If I manage to get past the initial problem, the drivers become corrupted or I encounter a Code 31 error in the Device Manager. Before seeking assistance, I thought it would be better to use DDU to completely clear all existing drivers. However, even after trying AMD's "Factory Reset," it didn't work. Opening DDU produced no windows, the Task Manager didn't show any new entries, and running as administrator or in safe mode also failed. It felt like I was interacting with a blank file or an empty folder, as nothing responded to my actions. It seems this problem might be connected to the broader failure of my PC, and I just need a solution for either the driver issue or the overall malfunction.
I would attempt to build a bootable USB for Windows 11 and then reinstall the operating system after backing up essential data. If the application fails to launch with elevated privileges, it may indicate the OS is irreparable, which could trigger additional complications.
Just a reminder, ensure the OS is installed with administrative rights and drivers activated through an elevated command to avoid problems.
It's not the best idea to start with a full reinstall immediately. Of course, if I wiped everything and started over, all my issues would disappear. But the operating system itself isn't the problem—it just didn't work well with the old graphics card and is unstable in safe mode. All other programs function perfectly, except for DDU. My aim is to resolve just this one issue without losing my current setup completely.
