My hardware:
Nvidia RTX 2080
Intel i5-9600k processor
16GB of RAM

The game frequently experiences pauses, particularly during intense combat situations. I’m running it on high and medium settings, and this is becoming frustrating; I suspect the game's optimization is poor. Any suggestions or assistance would be greatly valued.

What is your CPU and GPU load in these situations? What is your RAM usage? Are you doing anything in the background while gaming?

I’m not just playing games; nothing else is running, but within the game my processor usage hits 100%, while my graphics card runs at 94-99% and memory reaches 77%.

Your system appears to be encountering processing bottlenecks. Although the i5-9600K provides strong performance and high frame rates, it can also exhibit occasional pauses. According to Gamers Nexus, “We would recommend an i7-8700K if you’re using Intel – particularly for systems aiming for the highest refresh rates – while remaining within a lower budget than an i9-9900K. We would also suggest an R7 2700 for applications or games that heavily rely on multiple processing cores, such as Far Cry 5. The 9600K often performs better in terms of overall frame rate, but it can be inconsistent in delivering frames, especially in scenes with intense physics.” Based on your usage data, it seems the CPU may not have sufficient power to maintain smooth frame rates during intense gameplay with complex simulations.

I recently acquired this new system, which I initially tested with a Ryzen 2400G and an RTX 2080, utilizing 8GB of RAM. It experienced fewer game-related problems during that initial period than it currently does.
