CPU: Intel Core i7-10700
iGPU: UHD Graphics 630
dGPU: Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060
Motherboard: B460M DS3H AC
Drive: SAMSUNG 980 PRO SSD 2TB PCIe 4.0
PSU: CORSAIR - CX-M Series CX750M
When connected, my screen turns off after 30 minutes
After connecting, it puts the device to sleep
Never
I think a driver might be causing this. Recently I noticed strange warnings about unknown USB devices in Device Manager under USB.
Side note: I use a Netgear Nighthawk A7000 AC1900 USB 3.0 WiFi adapter for my Wi-Fi, which is plugged into a 3.0 USB port on the front of the PC. That worked fine without issues.
Any suggestions for drivers?

Hey Tom,
What power plan is active under 'Power Options'? For example, Balanced or Power Saver.
Also, have you tried having Windows search for drivers online to fix the "unknown device" issue?

This refers to the performance of windows. How do you understand it?

you open 'device manager' and it displays all installed computer devices. You then click on the 'Unknown device', select 'update driver', and proceed with the instructions to allow windows to locate the appropriate driver and search online for a solution.

If there are no results, you can disconnect each USB device and check the Device Manager screen to observe when the mysterious device vanishes from the list as an unknown. This will help identify the source of the issue.

Was dein PC in der Vergangenheit Schwierigkeiten beim Aufwachen aus dem Schlafmodus gehabt? Falls er plötzlich Probleme zeigt, empfiehlt es sich, dein RAM mit einem Memtest zu überprüfen.

No, I'm currently running Memtest. What number of passes would you suggest? John Carrona, a top BSOD expert (alongside John Griffith at Sysnative), advises a minimum of 3 passes, with some suggesting 8 runs. Thanks.

I ran the test... four runs and everything worked... no errors.
However, I identified issues with the device manager USB controllers possibly linked to a VENTION 10Gbps USB 3.2 Hub, a USB hub with four USB A 3.2 ports. I've connected it.
My computer uses USB 3.0, so I'm curious if the hub causes problems?

Was es mit eigener Software zur Installation geliefert? Falls nicht, schau auf der Vention-Website nach Fahrersoftware. Es könnte sein, dass es eigene Software oder spezielle Treiber benötigt, nicht generische Windows-Treiber.

I believe the RAM is in good condition. It seems unlikely the USB hub was the cause of the freezing, since waking from sleep often involves USB devices. It’s possible to use a connected device through the hub to trigger the PC from sleep. How do people typically wake the PC from sleep? Sleep involves background processes tied to CPU and motherboard states.

Here are some details about sleep states. This might also relate to the graphics driver or GPU. Try switching the display to use the CPU’s integrated graphics instead of the dedicated GPU while in sleep mode, by connecting the monitor to the motherboard’s output.
