I'm assembling a Cyberdeck using laptop components; I have a motherboard, battery, and screen. The display has an unusual spec—1920x515 resolution, giving it a wide look. It performs well when connected, but the brightness can't be adjusted. When I set it below 85%, it goes dark, and between 85% and 95%, it flickers. Recently, testing it on battery mode caused the screen to go black instantly. I connected a second monitor, which worked fine except for the screen issue. I'm stuck here. I've tried various software fixes, but nothing helps. I'm determined to finish this despite the high cost, especially since it was funded with birthday and holiday money.
