Recently, I’ve encountered an issue: my computer spontaneously reboots while gaming or loading games – it occurs silently, with no accompanying sounds. Initially, I investigated the Event Viewer and discovered a Kernel-Power 41 error, but the bug check code was 0, which seemed puzzling. I’m seeking assistance to diagnose this problem, as it hadn't occurred for three weeks prior.

Here are my PC specifications:
GPU - RTX 2060
CPU - Ryzen 5 3600x
PSU – Corsair CX550m
Motherboard - ASRock AB350 Pro4
RAM – 2x4 Corsair DDR4 and 2x8 Corsair DDR4 (identical models)

This just simply means that the PC rebooted unexpectedly. And indicates nothing about the cause of the problem itself, just that the cause is causing reboots, which of course, you know by your black screen!
It may be worth removing one of the module packs, as unfortunately even if they are the same model, there is no guaranteed compatibility, and it could potentially be a conflict. I would suspect something else first, but this is an easy one to test, and it's not unheard of for mixed RAM modules to cause these problems.
Equally if you are running any overclock or DOCP, I would disable it and retest.
Do you have latest BIOS installed?
How long have you had the PSU?
Usually based on when the reboots are occurring, you would likely suspect PSU or GPU, as effectively when you load up a game for example, the GPU draws a sudden large amount of power from the PSU, in some scenarious (say when a PSU is poor quality or faulty) it can trigger protective features and cause it to shut off to prevent damage. Ergo = Random reboot.
So following the above recommendations, i would also see if you have a spare GPU/PSU you can use to test.

I recently began utilizing the power supply unit that I had kept as an unused purchase from some time back, and my graphics card, which I acquired three weeks ago due to a defective previous model, is now functioning. The instability issues began approximately when I introduced a blue snowball microphone and installed VoiceMeeter, coinciding with the onset of these crashes. Furthermore, my central processing unit is only a few weeks old as well.

Could you describe the issue with your graphics card? Are you able to use a different power supply for testing purposes? Have you removed the microphone from your system? Do you have ‘stop error’ blue screen functionality activated? If so, please review this brief tutorial here: https://forums. Considering you're experiencing reboots that seem linked to power problems, it’s important to understand this is distinct from ‘stop error’ reboots. However, if you haven't enabled blue screens, the issue may simply manifest as a random restart.

The initial graphics card arrived defective, displaying unsightly purple distortions and running at a reduced resolution. My previous power supply unit, a rosewill 550 watts, which I previously employed for this computer, has also malfunctioned. I've disconnected the microphone and it lacks drivers; thus far, there haven’t been any system failures. However, I haven't yet played any games. I will inform you of any crashes that occur, and I suspect that blue screen errors are activated due to my past problem installing an incorrect Ryzen Master program for the processor, which resulted in a single BSOD that I subsequently resolved. Recently, I eliminated a second fan from my system because my motherboard can only manage one fan speed at a time, resulting in excessive noise. I’m uncertain if this has any bearing on the situation, but there are no signs of overheating.

The difficulty stemmed from a faulty 8 gigabyte RAM module. I removed it, and the system has been stable since—thank you for your assistance.

Unfortunately, the issue remains unresolved. I initially believed it was resolved because it hadn't rebooted in two days, unlike its typical 30-minute reboot cycle.
