I've been having trouble getting my PC to turn on. It would flicker a lot at first, but after disabling the Intel HD display adapter driver, it stopped flickering. I updated the driver using the "let me pick existing driver" option and it worked. Now I can use my PC, but I can't even reset it—it just shows a blue screen. I need a way to disable the driver through the command prompt. Thank you.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
We're going to need context to your build. When posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include your full system's specs. Please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.
Why did you need to update the driver? What driver did you install? I'm assuming you're on Windows OS, with that, can you get into Safe Mode?

I own a Dell Inpsiron 15 laptop with an i5 4th gen processor, Nvidia GeForce 820M 2GB, 4GB RAM, and a 512GB NVMe SSD running Windows 10 Pro. I'm struggling financially and need some advice, so please help me😭
Edit
Also, I've attempted to boot into safe mode but it keeps crashing.

It seems like a hardware issue. Look into the second-hand market for used PCs—you might find an 8th generation laptop at a lower price.

It's a known issue not related to hardware, linked to the driver. It began after updating it. I'm looking for a way to turn off "intel hd graphics" using the recovery mode command prompt, since I can't open Device Manager in Windows.

None of the solutions function, even after resetting the system.

As I mentioned before, it seems like a hardware issue. It's frustrating, I can tell you.

Hey everyone, thank you a lot for your support! It’s clear that the system restore didn’t work, which means it failed and no updates were applied. It’s frustrating that I can’t even use the restore tool to bring things back.
