The question about RAM not being recognized after installing the vertical GPU mount and F-USB connectors.
One RAM-Module is not recognised after installing vertical GPU mount and F-USB connectors.
The MB is a
Gigabyte Aorus Z790 Pro X
, and the RAM modules are:
Corsair
Vengeance
2 x 16GB, 6400 MHz, DDR5-RAM, DIMM (CMH32GX5M2B6400C36W)
according to VWL.
I switched the RAM modules on the motherboard to see if it would work, but that is not the case. I reset the BIOS and cleared the CMOS, but it's still the same. I assume the RAM module is broken, or is there something else I could try ?
Thank you
Make and model of the vertical riser cable/adapter. On second thought, here are the specifications formatted as requested:
CPU: [CPU details]
CPU cooler: [Cooler info]
Motherboard: [Model]
Ram: [RAM details]
SSD/HDD: [Storage type and details]
GPU: [GPU information]
PSU: [Power supply details]

OS: [Operating system]
Monitor: [Monitor details]
PSU age included, along with its make and model. BIOS version for the motherboard at this time. RAM slots A1 and B2 should be filled. The F-USB connector should be removed to check if functionality returns; it seems a low-cost riser might be causing grounding problems.

There's a yellow light on the motherboard, but the ram-modules are connected correctly...
