I've faced this problem for a while now, but it's becoming increasingly bothersome. Messages aren't being sent or received properly, and neither party is noticing it. I'm not sure how often this happens to the other person, but it seems to happen quite often. I always notice the issue after uninstalling and reinstalling the app. For instance, if I delete it and then reinstall, I might receive a message two hours later. However, when I try to restore old messages using the backup pin, it only shows the last message I sent before uninstalling. This means the conversation between then is completely lost. Even on Facebook, it keeps asking for the messenger, whether I use the app or the browser. Any solutions would be really helpful.
Haha, I could handle that too, but it also happened when I switched accounts. Either way, it's annoying because I have to log in without my phone and send messages from the PC or vice versa. The messages don't sync properly and sometimes get lost.
no, i attempted it and it displays last year's messages, yet using pin shows only recent messages this month, not the ones sent recently after uninstalling the app
