I was instructed to create another thread for this issue. Your setup includes a Ryzen 7 2700 with Tforce 3200MHz RAM on a B450F ASUS motherboard. Having two sticks works well, but using four at 3200MHz causes a boot loop. Possible reasons could be RAM compatibility, overclocking settings, or driver conflicts. Check if your RAM supports 3200MHz and verify BIOS updates.

Ryzen supports dual channel only, not quad. The quad option appears on HEDT/server models. 1000 and 2000 series units may have issues filling all four DIMM slots on the motherboard.

I confirmed the payment for the motherboard and received an RMA. A replacement was sent since the dual-channel feature failed on the previous unit.

Yes, a 3000 series Ryzen processor can manage multiple tasks efficiently. It should handle four slots simultaneously without issues.

It's curious, I didn't realize this existed. What makes sense is that there might be a real explanation or an artificial constraint. It would be interesting to see if the RAM on the boards is affecting the QVL, but reading what Spider-Man said made me feel a bit puzzled.

Your setup only allows dual channel, so using four dimmers will enable dual channel for each pair of speakers

Are you sure the BIOS on your motherboard is up to date? Newer Ryzen processors benefit greatly from the latest updates for better performance and compatibility.

Ryzen lacks full quad channel support. Dual channel means every two DIMM slots are filled. The motherboard provides one channel per two slots. This relates to DDR’s double data rate—when two RAM modules use the same DIMM, they share a single channel. Your CPU needs dual channel capability to access four slots. I explained this earlier. EDIT: These chips can be strict about RAM choices; they avoid having all four slots busy. As suggested by PlayStation 2, updating the BIOS may boost compatibility.
