You haven't installed Python3 directly yet. Trying `sudo apt install python3-pip` and `sudo apt install python3-venv` should help set up the environment. If Python feels unstable, installing it manually with `apt` might work better. Just let me know what you find!

What you shouldn't do is the approach I took when I was attempting to fix a simple CS project and used sudo apt purge python -f, which completely fixed my installation. It turned out many Ubuntu systems use Python, and I actually managed to restore it, keeping it functional enough to serve as my NAS for seven years.

You should first grasp Python virtual environments and their relationship with your system's global Python installation.

Sure, I understand. If I can set up venv and work with Python 3.10, that’s good. Just remember the discussion about installing pip and venv on older Python versions since those modules aren’t available. I’m trying to get everything working for the latest version now.
