Hi everyone,
I just drained my loop and rebuilt some of the hardline tubing in my PC. The problem I'm facing is that, even though the pump is working, I have to set it all the way to 5 to get the same performance as before on 3. Is my pump still functioning properly? It's been as quiet as ever.

Depends on various factors like loop charge and routing angles, as well as tubing quantity. If it's functioning properly, the issue might be related to residual air in the system affecting flow. Unless this adjustment was made recently, it probably resolved on its own.

It's been a while since this happened. The air around me seems clear, aside from a few tiny bubbles. The loop is smaller now and the components look identical, but the pump isn't moving as it did before. I notice a waterfall-like effect, which helps me spot the issue right away. I believe the pump might be failing, though they usually make a loud noise when they're working properly.

They can produce unpleasant noises, alter RPM irregularly, or just not start or stop the pump. The D5 variant pump? Do you have an image of your loop, either before or after? Considering pump expenses versus loop expenses, it might be better to replace it.
