The PSU is producing unusual bird-like sounds.
A few days back I began noticing an unusual sound emanating from my PC, though it was quite soft and hard to identify the source since it wasn't constant. After some investigation, I realized none of the fans were responsible and there were no visible moving parts to inspect. I recalled that the PSU also has fans, but during all my 15 years of building PCs I had never encountered anything similar. It sounds like an animal call, and I’m certain there are no unusual birds or animals inside the PSU case.
When sharing a troubleshooting thread, it's important to provide detailed system specifications. List them clearly as follows:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
Include the age of the PSU along with its make and model. Also note the current BIOS version for your motherboard.
When the fans rotate in reverse, disturbing sounds emerge. However, it might simply be a faint fan noise, possibly indicating a minor bearing issue.
It appears to be a metal construct, vibrating and emitting a high-pitched noise before stopping. Without detailed information, it's hard to confirm. However, apart from the case fans, there are also: GPU fans, PSU fan, and possibly an AIO pump if you have one.
