The PS3 controller stops working when it's far from the PC.
I possessed a genuine PS3 controller that I relied on for gaming, and my PC uses a wireless adapter from my previous laptop (Atheros QCA9377). I purchased an M.2 to PCIe + antenna converter (https://www.tokopedia.com/autoid/m-2-ngf...cie-tipe-2). Sadly, it doesn’t function properly—no 5 GHz signal detected since both devices use 2.4 GHz. I don’t see this as a major issue because I have a router in WISP mode and connect via Ethernet. The controller works well when close to the PC, but even a few centimeters or a meter away causes it to disconnect. This is really annoying while I’m trying to play RDR2. My top choice would be a Bluetooth dongle compatible with this model: https://vigem.org/projects/BthPS3/. Alternatives include TP-Link UB400 or Orico BTA-508. I might experiment with cheaper options, but I’d rather not throw away a good device for a bargain. Some people even switched to wired controllers after using low-cost dongles—though that’s not my plan here. Still, I’m open to suggestions and appreciate any help.
