I understand, but I’m not interested in promoting this product. I don’t want customers believing it improves their internet. In reality, it often does the opposite. Plus, I keep seeing ads for it.

Customers keep purchasing things they think will help, even if it's not true.
You might notice the ad, but not everyone will act on it. Fighting them won’t save you much time.

There are methods to circumvent it without paying. Some are extremely unlawful and easily spotted by an ISP, while others aren't even illegal and can't be detected. The approach involves connecting to a system on another service through its public internet. The first part I won’t discuss.

Regarding the main points of this discussion—what exactly are you seeking? Challenging another business without evidence can endanger more than your own goals. If you have proof, contact the consumer protection authority. In countries where this applies (not just the US), it’s a valid step.
