Hello, I just found out that my RAM is only running on 2400 MHz (I've bought my extra RAM with 3600 MHz a year ago...). But now I wanted to ask how could I "speed it up"? I've read that I need to do it in BIOS and I already tried that but with my BIOS I couldn't find the option to set it higher. I found the tab "Memory Information" which only tells me it's running at 2400 MHz but nothing more. Is there a way to fix that or do I have to buy a better Motherboard? (btw I also couldn't find XMP in the BIOS) Best Regards Specs: CPU: Motherboard: RAM:

You're asking about your motherboard model. It's often found under "XMP settings," though some manufacturers don't display it prominently due to their custom designs.

It's a Medion rebranding of the ECS board. I couldn't locate details on the official ECS website, only an eBay listing.

Received the ECS Z370H4-EM mainboard with chipset 1151. Not sure if this resolves anything. Identical to the one referenced by @SorryBella.

The BIOS is typically found in a menu labeled "performance" or similar for most standard motherboards. For older systems, it may appear under different names. If you're unsure, attaching images can help clarify the layout.

You need to adjust settings in the CPU section. There’s nothing else I can do.

Did you remove the 2400 sticks? Your PC's RAM speed will match the slowest DIMMs installed. Check the setup options, explore further. Remember, your CPU supports only DDR4-2666, so expect that limit.

I got it now. I didn’t remove the 2400 RAM because I thought I needed more. I’ll fix it now—it should work. Appreciate you sharing that info; I wasn’t aware it was limited to 2666. Thanks!

Additionally, using the Intel 8000 line doesn't significantly impact performance since it doesn't run at the maximum CPU speed.
