The processor returns to a 3.6GHz speed when under stress.
Hello, I have an i5 6600k with a gigabyte B150-HD3 motherboard and a hyper 212 evo led turbo. I was able to adjust the multiplier from 35 to 39 in the bios, but the CPU benchmarks haven't changed much. When testing under light load (around 10%), the CPU reaches about 3.9 GHz, while under full load it drops back to 3.6 GHz. It seems like thermal throttling isn't happening since the max temperature stayed at 59°C. I'm new to overclocking and don't know if I've changed the voltage yet—it's still in auto mode.
Restore everything to its original state and check if the issue resolves.
