They don't want to waste the incoming air, they need it to cool something effectively. I've heard AMD CPUs tend to get hot by design, which is normal and doesn't damage them. You're probably thinking about a 140mm fan instead of a 240mm one, correct?

it seems okay overall, but the main concern is whether the GPU fan is overheating. this could push hot air toward the CPU cooler, which might cause it to warm up more because of the larger fans on the side of the case. losing cooling efficiency in this way isn’t ideal. i had a similar problem on another server setup, but it wasn’t the same configuration. though it’s worth checking—if the cooler is tightened and thermal paste is applied properly, this issue might be avoidable. otherwise, it could be a last resort.

According to what I understand, those temperatures are typical for Series 7000 AMD processors. When the CPU is under load, do the fans run at full speed? They can stay idle too. You might tweak the fan curve to match your tolerance for noise, but the current settings should work well over time. For an all-in-one cooler, I don’t see much benefit compared to a dedicated air cooler. You could still use extra storage if you need it for video editing. Have a great day!

Hey! thank you for the reply, I have -10 PBO currently, I'll see if I can push it a bit more to like -30 maybe

The GPU speed increases during gameplay, not when it's off. It seems this is the intended design.

Hey! Thank you for the reply. Yeah I guess these temps are fine with that cooler. I expected it to cool down the CPU a bit more specially since NZXT says it can support this cpu without any problem. I checked some YouTube videos about the cooler and I see similar results as me. (Around 80-90°C).

I grasped the situation and verified your setup. Your unit includes 170mm fans at the front, which is quite large. You were concerned about adding exhaust fans at the top, but it seems you have sufficient airflow. Updated on July 7, 2025 by leclod
