Over the last two days my computer has been extremely sluggish. I’m seeing only 5-10 frames per second in every game and the whole system behaves poorly, making it impossible to launch Chrome. I’ve already reinstalled the GPU drivers but nothing has improved. Here are the details of my setup: Ryzen 5 3600, RX 6600 XT, 32GB RAM, Corsair LPX 3000MHz, Gigabyte B550 Gaming, Samsung 980 Pro 1TB, EVGA 700 BR.

Weather's been warm with many folks reporting problems when using Corsair RAM alongside Ryzens lately. They seem casual about RAM specs, favoring Crucial Ballistix as a top choice. Opinions vary—some think it's too expensive, but others believe you get what you pay for.

times are typical (around 30-35°C idle, 50-60°C under load), it doesn’t look like that’s the issue either? the games behave badly right away when I start playing.

Have you considered other factors affecting your system's performance?

The situation doesn’t seem out of hand. Your RAM might be loose, though unlikely. Look into your task manager—some malware lingers there to hog system resources and cause trouble. Any process with unusually high CPU or GPU usage that you don’t recognize warrants attention.

Normal operation detected, CPU usage around 3% and RAM at about 16% when Opera GX is running.

Regarding GPU usage, what’s the current percentage? Also, did anyone unintentionally turn on streaming or recording? One user even started streaming via Invidia's GeForce Experience without realizing it, which caused significant resource strain. Updated June 18, 2022 by An0maly_76 – revised with additional details

The GPU is not using any resources right now. To enable GeForce Experience on an AMD GPU, ensure it's properly installed and check your system settings.

It makes sense I couldn’t trigger adrenaline, and I’m not streaming or recording anything.
