My configuration: CPU model Ryzen 5700X, cooler be quiet!, motherboard Dark Rock TF, GPU Asus ROG Strix 1080, RAM G.Skill Trident Z 3200 MHz, 32Gb (two 16Gb), plus G.Sill Trident Z 32200 MHz, 16Gb (two 8Gb), model F4-3600C16D-32GTZNC. Current default RAM speed is 2133 MHz. When I try to activate XMP in BIOS (labeled D.O.C.P on the motherboard) and save/reset, the system restarts and plays a long peep followed by two short peeps. After booting into BIOS, I must revert to default settings so the PC can start. The issue is persistent—especially after upgrading from Ryzen 1600X to 5700X today, yet the problem remains unchanged. Also, the same occurred when I swapped in a different but similar RAM pair (F4-3200C16D-16GTZKY). Can I achieve 3200 MHz? For reference: with one F4-3600C16D-32GTZNC it worked the same as another similar pair, indicating the problem isn’t related to that part.

I considered adjusting the manual frequency to 2666 with XMP activated. It might be helpful to raise the voltage slightly beyond the manufacturer's suggestions. For a Ryzen 5700X with four single-rank memory sticks, the recommended specs are 2933, and for dual-rank it’s 2666. If you achieve stable performance at 2666, you can build on that.

You placed each memory stick in its designated slot. The 3200MHz CL16 can be set using the XMP timings from the 3200 kit without any issues.

Do you have the newest BIOS installed for that board? The voltage configuration for the DOCP profile is usually specified there. Sometimes it needs a higher voltage to work properly.

Your board seems a bit outdated and fragile, consider upgrading to 3000Mhz.

I think @RONOTHAN## might be dealing with a faulty BIOS. Let's try different bios versions to see if any work, especially RAM OC. The 5700x3D version seems promising—it often outperforms the 7600 in many games, including Factorio.

If the 3200 MHz setting didn't work, try 2933MHz; some boards avoid issues with multiple channels above 3000+ speeds.
