I'm really dealing with all these comments.
Just wanted to highlight how costly Stadia can be.
Of course it's an apples-to-oranges comparison, but I'm trying to show that with Stadia the expenses can really soar to a gaming PC level (or even higher).
By the way, services like PS Now and xCloud are significantly more affordable.

And the reason your post was redirected to PC gaming is unclear.

Good luck with that lol. Users with very stable and high bandwidth internet are experiencing poor results. Have fun trying to stream video games on a network with many guests all attempting to stream simultaneously.

I used to travel frequently for work, staying in hotels almost every week, often multiple times a month. I did this for several years. I rarely encountered situations where the hotel’s internet and WiFi setup was suitable for gaming, particularly in the evenings when rooms were full. I usually carried my laptop and a game console with me all the time, and most of the time I ended up tethering my phone instead of using local hardware for gaming. That would have been even worse if I were streaming an entire game.

At that time, I was still on a grandfathered data plan with Verizon, so I didn’t worry about hitting my data limit. Their 4G offered low latency and sufficient bandwidth, making it easy to use for both gaming and streaming.

I believe the main advantage is for people who say they won't purchase a gaming PC!

The main advantage of Netflix for games disappeared when they said you must purchase the games separately at higher prices compared to other platforms. They should enhance the current Stadia service, especially after Microsoft's announcement of project xCloud beta, since using it with Xbox Game Pass offers a significantly better option.

I believed this was the main advantage. What changed is the distinction from other platforms that didn't succeed?

Good luck fitting 10 games on a 120gb ssd. That’s a solid point. Why invest $170 for what feels like a chromecast plus controller when you could use a used RX 580 and Xbox One controller for the same cost? I get it, streaming is great, but it’s still not quite there yet.

I confirmed it myself, the $170 package in the UK does not include the controller.
