The electricity failed last night due to maintenance on the power box and lines. I wasn’t there and my computer wasn’t running, but it was connected and powered on. Before the outage, everything worked normally. After returning home, I tried playing games but got stuck with a black screen and a white underscore in the top left. The fans and LEDs are active, yet the debug light shows up as VGA. I’ve tested several fixes: changing monitors, disconnecting the power supply, waiting, pressing the power button while the PSU is off to drain remaining energy, and unplugging all cords. Still, I remain stuck during boot. Anyone have suggestions or troubleshooting steps? It seems the power supply might have failed first. I’m hoping it’s not a more serious issue.

Have you explored another source of power? The outlet near your place failed after their electrical job, so I had to connect it elsewhere.
