I'm set up with my USB and tomahawk max. I'm prepared for a 3000 Ryzen setup, though I don't care about the exact specs. Everything is connected—CPU, RAM, GPU. The MSI guide says you can proceed without the CPU. It doesn't say anything about issues if you've already built the system. Is it safe to flash everything while mounted?
No requirement to place anything on the board or remove all items. I applied Bios Flashback on my crosshair vii hero without clearing anything; it performed well—it just flashes the BIOS and then stops. Just open the PC afterward. Once the BIOS updates, restart the PC. If it doesn’t appear, let me know but I suspect it’s due to your hardware. Your Ryzen 3000 is likely outdated unless there’s a specific serial number near the board where the correct BIOS is installed.
Once the CMOS was reset and new BIOS installed, it took about 4 to 5 minutes before it stopped booting and displayed that no boot device was found.
